Group Building Control Specialist

Osborne Richardson is seeking a highly skilled Group Building Control Surveyor to join our team in a contract capacity. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary area teams, you will be responsible for administering the full range of Building Regulations functions for large, complex, and non-complex projects within a defined geographical area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vetting plans, details, reports, calculations, and other information submitted for compliance with the Building Regulations
- Drafting Consents/Approvals, letters, and emails in response to clients and contractors
- Carrying out site inspections of works in progress to check for compliance with the Building Regulations
- Informing contractors and clients of any deficiencies requiring further action
Requirements:
- Class 2/3 Registered Building Inspector
- Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
