About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring Support Worker to join our team at The Lawrence, a specialist adult care service provided by Priory Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred support and care to our service users, enabling them to lead independent lives and realise their potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and care to service users, maintaining dignity and respect at all times
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and household chores
  • Support service users to engage in activities and hobbies, promoting independence and social interaction
  • Manage challenging behaviours and provide a safe and supportive environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and support

Requirements

  • Reliable and friendly approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviours
  • DBS clearance (cost covered by Priory)
