The role of a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Reeson Education is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting students in their academic journey.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with school staff to select students for mentoring and additional support. This involves discussing the aims of mentoring with pupils, supporting them inside and outside of the classroom, and agreeing on action plans.
You will also be responsible for making home visits to talk to parents about issues and offer advice, as well as liaising with schools, teachers, social workers, and educational psychologists. Your goal will be to aid pupils in their transition to secondary education and help increase their confidence and self-esteem.
In this role, you will be joining a growing team of specialists who invest heavily in the support department. If you have experience working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, mentor, or tutor in a school setting or through a private tuition company, then this is an ideal placement.
