Salary: £34,394 - £41,787 per annumAbout the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our Home Treatment Team, Crisis Hub, and Mental Health Connect Helpline. This full-time role involves working 13 long days/nights over a 4-week period, with part-time hours considered. As a member of our dynamic team, you will work alongside Psychiatrists, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, and other professionals to provide interventions, support, guidance, and signposting to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Triage and respond to mental health crisis calls and referrals, providing timely interventions and support.
  2. Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting recovery and reducing risk.
  3. Provide expert advice and guidance to service users, families, and carers, empowering them to make informed decisions about their mental health.
Requirements
  • Current professional registration (NMC/HCPC)
  • Professional qualification (RMN/SW/OT)
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Previous experience working with service users in mental health crisis
  • Substantial post-registration experience
  • Leadership and management skills
