Senior Network Engineer Telecoms

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer Telecoms to join our team at HS2 Ltd. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our high-speed rail infrastructure project.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have experience in managing competing project and engineering demands, with cost and schedule implications. They will be responsible for providing guidance on design solutions for the asset, promoting the use of best practices and innovative engineering techniques, technologies, and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Lead Project Engineer - Comms in discharging their duties of NEC3 Supervisor.
- Support the Lead Project Engineer - Comms in discharging their duties of Principal Designer Representative as mandated within the Construction Design Management (CDM) Regulations 2015.
- Oversee the identification, communication, and management of technical risks and assumptions.
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary engineering and safety standards, assurance activity on large complex major projects/programmes.
- Relevant domain experience in Telecommunications design, installation, and Testing & Commissioning.
- Ability to apply principles and methods to information management and sharing, modeling, and data security.
As a senior member of our team, you will receive a competitive salary of £67,300pa, depending on skills and experience. In addition, we offer a flexible benefits fund of 20% which is paid on top of the base salary and is fully pensionable, as well as a range of competitive benefits.
This role requires a strong understanding of risk identification and management, commercial awareness, and ability to promote and embed Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in all work. The successful candidate will also have experience in managing competing project and engineering demands, with cost and schedule implications.
