Job Title: Classroom Support Worker

Job Description:

We are working with a fantastic primary school in the Kingston Upon Thames area, who are looking for a Classroom Support Worker to join them immediately.

As a Classroom Support Worker, you will be required to support special needs children with their development.

You do not need previous experience within a school setting, but you will ideally have recent experience working with children in some capacity.

The School:

The curriculum is designed around the interests, heritage and aspirations of their children.

The school strives for excellence and aims to inspire and challenge all children to learn skills and develop passions.

The Role:

As a Classroom Support Worker, you will need to work in a Primary School supporting SEN pupils.

You will need to be able to work inside and outside the classroom with pupils in 1:1 or small group settings.

Able to support pupils with physical, behavioural or learning difficulties under the supervision of a teacher.

Requirements:

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to adapt your approach to learning based on the pupils' needs

* Contribute towards a safe and stimulating learning environment
