At Grandir UK, we are seeking a dedicated and caring Casual Nursery Worker to join our team at Maple Road Dicky Birds day Nursery in Surbiton. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing a positive practice role model to ensure that Grandir UK values are maintained
  • Ensuring that equality of access and opportunity is afforded to all staff, parents and children
  • Supervising and supporting children at all times
  • Contributing to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment
  • Preparing and supervising activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners
  • Reading, understanding and implementing all company policies, procedures and operational practices
  • Ensuring that any changes to policies, procedures and operational practices are adhered to within the required timescale
  • Ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation stage
  • Notifying your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures and operational practices
  • Maintaining a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors and work colleagues
  • Ensuring confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained
  • Attending regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertaking training as required
