About the RoleThis role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklifts at various customer sites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic field-based role.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance Tasks: Perform regular checks and maintenance on forklifts to prevent breakdowns.
- Repair and Fault-Finding: Identify and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimise downtime.
- Customer Interaction: Provide clear communication with customers regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience in servicing and repairing forklifts or similar heavy equipment.
- Diagnostics: Ability to diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
- Customer Focus: Provide professional communication and excellent customer service.
- Competitive Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum
