About the Role:

This Account Manager position is offering a competitive annual salary between £40-43k depending on experience. As an experienced Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving key accounts within a designated market.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish Rapport: Build an excellent rapport with all key customers.
  • Forecast Numbers: Deliver revenue against Quarterly outlook by forecasting numbers with the Sales, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure Revenue and Material Margin outlooks are accurate, and any issues are highlighted early in order to react.
  • Upsell and Cross-Sell Opportunities: Actively looking to upsell and chase orders to meet revenue targets.
  • Sell Available Capacity: Sell available manufacturing capacity to relevant customers within your key audience.
  • Liaise with External Sales Team: Liaise closely with External Sales counterpart, attending some trade shows and customer meetings.
  • Ensure Appropriate Stock Levels: Ensure that stocking levels are appropriate and that stock is sold regularly to avoid overstocking.
  • Excellent Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service at all times, collaborating with the customer to solve problems and manage expectations.
  • Regular Customer Contact: Maintain regular contact with customers to make sure that all their needs are anticipated and that revenue levels can be accurately predicted.
  • Conversion Costs Awareness: Awareness of conversion costs and margin levels to assist in decision-making process.
  • Shipping and Export Management: Ensure shipping documentation and export management is carried out to the highest standard and kept in order in close conjunction with the Warehouse team.
  • Invoice Processing: Process invoices once goods are dispatched.
