Primary Welfare Support Officer

**Job Description:**
We are looking for a highly skilled Primary Welfare Support Officer to join our team at Teach Plus in Hayes. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in promoting the well-being of our students and ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to identify and support children's welfare needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote positive mental health and well-being across the school.
- Provide expert guidance on safeguarding, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Lead small group or individual sessions to support children's emotional and social development.
**Requirements:**
- Experience in a similar welfare or pastoral care role, ideally within a school environment.
- Strong knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach with a passion for supporting children's well-being.
**Salary and Benefits:**
This is a full-time position with a salary range of £25,992 - £30,559 per annum, depending on experience.
