About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Tokamak Energy. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and operation of systems and technology that bring commercial fusion energy closer to realisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and researchers to ensure the successful integration of design efforts across a diverse range of fields.
  • Contribute to the development of systems engineering practices at Tokamak Energy, taking a leading role in developing some aspects of our end-to-end digital engineering workflows.
  • Develop tailored requirements management plans to suit projects and coach other engineers in good requirements writing and management.

Requirements

  • Degree level in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in systems engineering, preferably in the energy or nuclear field.
  • Understand the characteristics of good quality requirements and traceability.

What We Offer

  • Salary dependent on skills and experience and will be discussed from the outset.
  • 28 days (inclusive of festive break) holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Eligible for discretionary performance-related bonus.
