About the Role

The Brief Intervention Service works with children, young people and their families for up to six months. Our brief interventions will support children, young people and their families to create change – through co-produced child and family assessments, family led plans, Family Space Clinics and a range of community based services.

As a Social Worker in this role, you will benefit from strong leadership, small teams, regular supervision and a caseload that allows you to spend time with children and young people building relationships and building on their strengths and those of the wider family network.

To support you in creating change, we offer a range of tools and resources, including a comprehensive training program and access to expert advice and guidance. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other professionals, including therapists, teachers and healthcare professionals, to ensure that children and young people receive the best possible support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct co-produced child and family assessments to identify the needs and strengths of children and their families

• Develop and implement family led plans to support children and young people to achieve their goals

• Work with children, young people and their families to create change through a range of interventions, including Family Space Clinics and community based services

• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure that children and young people receive the best possible support

Requirements

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is passionate about making a difference to children's lives. You will need to have a strong understanding of relationship-based practice and be able to work effectively with children, young people and their families.
