Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Social Worker to join our team at Norwood. As a key member of our Children and Family Service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality social care assessment and intervention services to neurodivergent children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team to address the physical, emotional, and social needs of our clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding standards and Norwood's policies and procedures.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, using a strengths-based approach, to identify individual needs and develop appropriate responses.
  • Work with statutory and community authorities to benefit our clients.
  • Provide advice and support to families, including guidance on relevant legal frameworks.

Requirements

  • Social Worker Degree or equivalent.
  • Registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
  • Previous experience in statutory or voluntary sector Children's Services.
  • Understanding of neurodivergent children's needs and sound knowledge of relevant legislation.
