The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering control structures and frameworks that guide all of our Underwriting and Claims activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring internal Underwriting, Claims and Operations processes/initiatives.
  • Underwriting and Claims Quality Control - results analysis and reporting.
  • Data integrity - testing the accuracy, completeness and consistency of data used in our strategies, including non-conventional and delegated authority arrangements.
  • Providing clear reporting on issues identified and evidence to support proposed actions.
  • Assisting in ensuring that initiative change for Underwriting and Claims delivers the targeted benefit.
  • Being aware of the introduction of new suppliers/delegated authorities, as well as participating in due diligence and related set-up activity.
  • Completing the annual Audit Plan, covering Supplier and Delegated Authority audits.
  • Maintaining the provisions of our internal underwriting and claims authority frameworks.
  • Understanding the risk environment in which we operate, identifying and managing key risks that threaten the success and sustainability of our business.
Requirements
  • Must have previous experience in a Claims or Underwriting role, or have previously worked in an internal audit role within the insurance/financial services sector.
  • Strong data and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
