About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Contact Receptionist to join our team at The Bedford College Group. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to our students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and high-quality front-of-house service to customers, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Support the team with administrative duties, including managing computerised and manual record systems.
  • Take responsibility for the efficient running of the front desk/reception area, ensuring a smooth and organised environment.
  • Communicate effectively and confidently with customers, staff, and stakeholders, both face-to-face and in writing.

  • You will have a strong background in customer service, with experience of working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • You will be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities, with a strong attention to detail.
