ICT Senior Technical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICT Senior Technical Engineer to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. As a key member of our ICT Directorate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our ICT Technical Operations objectives.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical engineering, with experience in managing and maintaining complex ICT systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability and reliability of our server environment, including physical and virtual servers, as well as our Citrix estate.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance and day-to-day operation of the server, application, and cloud services in line with policy and procedures.
- Availability of the Trust's entire server environment, both physical and virtual, including the Citrix estate.
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly System Centre Configuration Manager).
- Ensuring that updates pushed out via the Endpoint Configuration Manager are fully tested and delivered in a controlled and timely manner.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
