About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICT Senior Technical Engineer to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. As a key member of our ICT Directorate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our ICT Technical Operations objectives.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical engineering, with a focus on data centre operations, cloud services, and Microsoft solutions. You will be responsible for maintaining and operating our server, application, and cloud services, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintenance and day-to-day operation of server, application, and cloud services
  • Availability of the Trust's entire server environment, including Citrix estate
  • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly System Centre Configuration Manager)
  • Ensuring updates are fully tested and delivered in a controlled and timely manner

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
