About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICT Senior Technical Engineer to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. As a key member of our ICT Directorate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our ICT Technical Operations objectives.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical engineering, with experience in maintaining and operating server, application, and cloud services. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability of our server environment, including physical and virtual servers, as well as our Citrix estate.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintenance and day-to-day operation of server, application, and cloud services
  • Availability of the Trust's entire server environment, both physical and virtual
  • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly System Centre Configuration Manager)
  • Ensuring updates are fully tested and delivered in a controlled and timely manner

This is a challenging and exciting role that requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
