Overview of the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Group Finance Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting us in achieving our short-term and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process general expenses, including posting invoices and payments in the ledger and bank.
  • Manage Direct Debits transactions within the ledger, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Reconcile ledger balances to supplier statements, maintaining financial transparency.
  • Produce monthly Aged Creditor reconciliation reports, providing valuable insights into our financial position.
  • Oversee the daily management of the Accounts Payable Inbox, ensuring timely and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Reconcile Other Debtors and Other Creditors accounts, ensuring accurate financial records.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A self-motivated and organized approach, with excellent time management skills.
  • Experience working in a busy finance department, preferably in an AP capacity.
  • Strong Excel skills, including proficiency in vlookups and pivot tables.
  • The ability to work well with stakeholders at all levels of the business, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to professional development, with a desire to study towards or intend to study towards a professional accounting qualification.
