Location: Northwest Region

Nacro, a leading not-for-profit education and skills provider, is seeking an experienced Further Education professional to lead our education teams in the Northwest region.

We deliver education and training to around 3,000 disadvantaged young people, apprentices, and adults each year through our network of Education and Skills Centres, funded by the Department for Education.

We pride ourselves on the progression opportunities we create for our learners and the nurturing environment that helps them succeed in learning to the highest standards.

We are looking for a seasoned education leader to ensure a high-quality learning experience that leads to excellent achievement, progression, and destination outcomes for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective leadership and management to Education Centre delivery teams, including line management, coaching, mentoring, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality education provision.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight and operational management of Education Centres and Learning Spaces.
  • Collaborate with Finance Business Partners to deliver efficient and effective financial planning, budget, and resource management for sustainable provision.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including Local Authorities, Local Enterprise Partnerships, employers, feeder schools, and colleges.
  • Lead the approach for ensuring that curriculum design is inclusive, engaging, and fit for purpose.
  • Collaborate with the Education Leadership Team to manage and support Education Centre Delivery Teams in designing and delivering curriculum content that meets learners' needs and aspirations.

We are seeking a candidate with innovative thinking, the ability to develop and execute a long-term vision for the curriculum, and good written, verbal, and ICT skills.

A PGCE qualification would be desirable.
