Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Leadership: Lead teachers and work-based tutors in engaging stakeholders to inform schemes of work and enhance our curriculum offer.
- Teaching and Learning Excellence: Drive and demonstrate excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment, with a focus on quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work alongside leaders within the curriculum management team and wider college management team to implement and lead on aspects of our Positive Behaviour approach.
- Professional Development: Champion our commitment to putting students first, promoting our values of fairness, respect, and quality.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all quality assurance procedures and systems are effectively implemented within the area of responsibility, including work with sector partners to underpin rigorous quality and inclusive practice standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of our quality assurance and improvement systems, addressing underperformance and actively supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Education and Experience: Hold a relevant degree and a PGCE/Cert ed or willingness to work towards, with experience in managing, motivating, and supporting a team of staff in an educational environment.
- Curriculum Expertise: Have experience of delivering and assessing a range of curriculum programmes, with a strong understanding of curriculum design and development.
- Leadership and Management: Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.
