About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Finance and EPM Director to join our team at KPMG. As a key member of our Powered Enterprise team, you will be responsible for driving business development, practice build, and delivery of transformations enabled by SAP technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and lead pre-sales activities, engaging directly with senior stakeholders and managing bid teams with limited support from SAP business partners.
  • Develop commercial acumen to propose and defend constructs to proposals, working closely with partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Enhance KPMG Powered Enterprise offerings, focusing on readily deployable assets, demos, and accelerators with clear ROI and special emphasis on automation, clean core, and AI.
  • Write external KPMG whitepapers and points of view, showcasing expertise and thought leadership in the SAP Finance and EPM space.
  • Interact regularly with SAP to gain insights on future roadmap direction, align joint target accounts, and drive the direction of KPMG's offerings in this domain.
  • Attract, recruit, train, and retain top talent, building a high-performing team that delivers exceptional results.
  • Serve as the senior Finance Architect for complex engagements with flagship accounts, providing technical leadership and expertise.
Requirements
  • Deep experience selling and delivering key SAP Finance and EPM solutions, including Budgeting, Forecasting, Group Reporting, Consolidation, Central Finance, PaPM, and Treasury.
  • High-level understanding of SAP SAC, BPC, Datasphere, SAC, and other EPM tools is desirable.
  • Delivered 4+ end-to-end SAP programmes as an end-to-end Finance Lead, with a proven track record of success.
  • Delivered at least 2 end-to-end Central Finance programmes as the overall lead, with a strong focus on automation and ROI.
  • Experience selling and delivering under a RISE contract from the business development/sales phase until implementation go-live, with a strong understanding of the SAP ecosystem.
  • Proven track record in leading complex bids, including S/4HANA and other SAP and non-SAP technologies, with a focus on identifying SMEs, delivery teams, win themes, and managing them to craft compelling and winning proposals.
  • Experience in running a regular cadence with SAP to understand future roadmap direction and co-innovation opportunities, with a focus on driving the direction of KPMG's offerings in this domain.
  • Managed a team of onshore and offshore resources, both from an individual engagement and overall practice perspective, with a focus on building a high-performing team that delivers exceptional results.
  • Understanding of SAP's AI roadmap and experience in creating assets, products, and solutions that leverage it to the benefit of customers.
  • Built assets and accelerators that were deployed to multiple customers, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
