About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our dedicated team as a Surgical Ward Clerk Specialist. You will be working closely with the ward staff, providing administrative support, and ensuring that all necessary facilities are available.

  • Providing administrative support to the ward staff, including filing results, ordering patient files and notes, and maintaining up-to-date information on hospital systems.
  • Liaising with other members of the multi-disciplinary team, such as secretaries, social services, and medical staff.
  • Booking patient transport, appointments, and admissions to the ward.
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to trust policies and procedures.
