Senior Surgical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Surgical Assistant to join our team at Care New England Health System.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures by handling instrumentation and anticipating the needs of the surgeon, while maintaining aseptic techniques to AORN standards.
Responsibilities- Assist surgeons during operations by preparing and managing equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team, ensuring a smooth and efficient procedure.
- Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to AORN standards and best practices.
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of OR experience is preferred.
- BLS Certification is mandatory.
