About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our team at Mintel. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion in the beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a consultative sales strategy to target new clients within the beauty space.
  • Identify and prospect key decision-makers within marketing and research divisions to understand their specific consumer insights needs.
  • Deliver exceptional sales results against net-new revenue targets on a quarterly basis.
  • Travel to clients for face-to-face meetings and hold Zoom conversations to discuss the benefits and impact of Mintel's data on their business.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a sales professional with a proven track record of success, excellent closing and prospecting skills, and the ability to make cold and warm introductions over the phone, in-person, and via email.

Requirements:

  • Strong sales and business development experience in the beauty industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
