Diversity and Belonging Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished professional to join our team as Diversity and Belonging Specialist, responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive Inclusion and Wellbeing initiatives. As part of our unified People and Organisational Development team, you will collaborate with colleagues to drive organisational goals and enhance employee experiences.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing a Wellbeing and Inclusion strategy, aligned with HRUC's strategic objectives.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on Inclusion and Wellbeing matters, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- Collaborating with stakeholders and staff to deliver engaging events and programs that support employee Wellbeing and Inclusion.
- Creating regular reports on Wellbeing and Inclusion metrics, informing program evaluation and improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A professional qualification in EDI, wellbeing, mental, or occupational health (e.g., CIPD level 5).
- Experience in an EDI or wellbeing role, influencing and shaping the agenda.
- A track record in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs.
- The ability to supervise and delegate effectively.
- Project management experience in EDI and wellbeing initiatives.
- The capacity to serve as the subject matter expert for Wellbeing and Inclusion, providing guidance to internal stakeholders.
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is estimated to be between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
