Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our client's commercial team on a permanent basis.
About the Role: As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts. You will also be involved in the management of construction projects, including monitoring progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities and contract documents
- Evaluate bids and negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors
- Manage construction projects, including monitoring progress and identifying potential issues
- Implement solutions to resolve project-related problems
- Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role
- Strong commercial skills and awareness
- Ability to commute to Bromley on a daily basis
- Degree-qualified or other relevant qualifications
