Tutor for Children with Special Educational Needs

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor to work with children with Special Educational Needs (SEND) in the Cambridge area. As a Tutor for SEND, you will be working with children who require additional support to access the National Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 tuition to children with SEND in a community setting
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of each child
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to supporting children with SEND
Requirements:
- Experience of teaching children with SEND, including SEMH, ASC, MLD, and SpLD
- Strong behaviour management strategies and ability to work with children who present challenging behaviour
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- QTS status or equivalent, or unqualified with two years' experience teaching National Curriculum core subjects
