Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record and maintain pallet inventory to prevent financial exposure and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Proactively manage stock movement documentation, adhering to agreed procedures and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Update our systems with relevant data, resulting from operational and pallet transactions, to maintain accurate records and inform decision-making.
  • Liaise with customers, hauliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues related to stock management and operations.
  • Comply with Quality, Health, and Safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Maintain the WMS database and schedules, ensuring no impact on service levels and stock integrity.
  • Provide general administrative support to aid the efficient running of operations and support the site team.
  • Perform any other duties necessary to fulfill the role, as required.
  • Take responsibility for your own Health and Safety and that of others, adhering to safe working practices.
  • Attend training courses as required to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills to interact with internal and external customers at all levels.
  • High flexibility, commitment, and willingness to carry out varied tasks positively and reliably.
  • Accuracy skills and ability to perform tasks with attention to detail, ensuring error-free work.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, providing flexibility and reliability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including Excel, to an intermediate level.
  • Familiarity with Manhattan WMS is desirable but not essential.
  • Motivation to work under pressure and meet critical timeliness targets.
  • Ability to multitask and offer excellent and reliable support.
  • Flexibility to meet operational demands.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
  • Commitment, enthusiasm, and flexibility governed by the position.
