About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pet Operations Manager to lead our home-based pet welfare team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our pet rehoming services, working closely with our Pet Welfare Assistants to ensure the highest standards of animal care and welfare.

You will be a strong leader, able to motivate and manage a team to achieve exceptional results. With a deep understanding of pet welfare and care, you will be able to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with your team, stakeholders, and the public.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a team of Pet Welfare Assistants to achieve exceptional results
  • Ensuring the highest standards of animal care and welfare are maintained
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve pet welfare and care
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and the public

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Pet Operations Manager who has:

  • Significant experience in managing a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A deep understanding of pet welfare and care
  • The ability to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement

It would be great if you also had experience working with volunteers, performance management and improvement experience, and an understanding of safeguarding issues. However, these are not essential requirements.
