The Role

We are currently seeking a Caseworker to join our Casework Team on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week. As a Caseworker, you will provide advice, information, and support to horticulturalists experiencing challenges and adverse life events via telephone and email.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide generalist advice across areas such as social care, health, benefits, housing, and employment
  • Help explore issues and identify, co-ordinate, and implement solutions
  • Offer sensitive listening and questioning skills to build confidence in individuals to address problems personally
About You

To be considered as a Caseworker, you will need:

  • Experience in delivering a telephone helpline or advice service
  • Experience working in a welfare-related environment
  • Knowledge of welfare benefits information or advice giving
  • Highly developed communication skills
