About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Caseworker to join our team at St Giles Trust. As a Senior Caseworker, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering a flexible, holistic, and personalized pathway towards employment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients with complex support needs, providing comprehensive assessments and developing realistic individual action plans.
  • Work collaboratively with staff across St Giles Trust and external partners to identify and receive referrals, build effective partnerships, and support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Organize and deliver one-to-one and group activities to prepare clients for employment, including workshops, training sessions, and job placement support.
  • Lead on the development and maintenance of strong links with employers and potential work placement hosts to open up opportunities for our clients.
  • Line manage volunteer Peer Advisors and provide day-to-day support to Peer Advisors attached to the project.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience of delivering successful one-to-one and group employment activities, applying a creative approach to planning programs, workshops, and activities.
  • Substantial experience of managing a caseload of clients presenting with support needs, including those with complex and challenging behaviors.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A flexible, collaborative, and professional approach to your work, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the safety of our clients.
