Job Description:

NHS England is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Workforce and Education Resourcing Lead to drive key initiatives that support workforce, training, and education internal resourcing. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Resourcing (Operations Improvement) to ensure effective alignment and improvement of resourcing and functions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver strategic reviews to enhance resourcing and functions
  • Support resourcing activities post-programme transition, ensuring efficiencies are safeguarded and design principles upheld
  • Provide timely and high-quality information management, reporting, and risk issue management
  • Maintain effective stakeholder relationships and influence change through improvement approaches

Person Specification:

  • Understanding of complex environments and policies
  • Appreciation of current healthcare policy implications
  • Experience in identifying and interpreting national policy
  • Analytical skills for interrogating data sources
  • Ability to plan and adjust business plans strategically

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills and data interpretation experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and intermediate keyboard skills

Contract Details:

  • Permanent position
  • Full-time working pattern
  • Salary: £53,755 - £60,504 per annum (exclusive of London Weighting)
  • Based in Leeds or London at NHS England offices
