About the Role

Adele Carr Recruitment is delighted to be supporting the recruitment needs of a prestigious organisation, who are keen to appoint a commercial, Finance Business Partner on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a pivotal position within the finance function, supporting the Head of Finance and the wider business. The successful new appointment will have a proven background in reviewing management accounts and spend, providing a detailed forecast of costs versus budget for the senior leadership team.

You will be a proven, qualified accountant or finalist (ACA / CIMA / ACCA), seeking a role with a level of autonomy and responsibility. Collaborating across the organisation, you will drill down on the numbers and gain a deep understanding of the business, before delivering financial guidance to support strategic decision-making to drive business performance.

You will be an asset to the business, ensuring financial processes and controls are robust and taking a lead on continuous improvement. Proficient in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting is key, along with a proven background in business partnering.

The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:

  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Partnering with operational teams to understand key drivers, challenges, and potential improvements in financial performance.
  • Managing/leading projects and initiatives to improve financial processes, continuous improvement.
  • Leading variance analysis to ensure budgets and forecasts are met, identifying any risks or deviations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to influence financial outcomes and achieve business targets.
  • Presenting financial results and insights to the senior management team and other stakeholders.
  • Supporting the wider business in recommending/ implementing change.
