Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Financial Business Partner to join our supportive finance team at Potens. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assisting our Commercial Finance Manager in producing monthly Management Accounts and Management Information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of monthly Management Accounts and Management Information.
  • Support the Finance Business Partners in being the interface between front-line managers and the Head Office MI finance team.
  • Take the lead on weekly exception reporting, ensuring all information is received from operational colleagues and reported to FBP's and Sales colleagues to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Annual Budget, year-end accounts, and associated working papers.
  • Support with credit control to ensure timely payment from customers, including liaising with external agencies and customers directly where necessary.
  • Support senior finance colleagues in embedding a positive and person-centered culture across the finance function and the wider business.

Requirements

  • AAT or Part Qualified, with study support provided.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a finance role.
  • Proactive team member with the ability to influence and work well as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present data.
  • Fully IT competent in Microsoft packages, particularly Excel.
