About Guild Care

Guild Care is a charity that provides support and care to people in Worthing and its surrounding areas. We believe in empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives and providing them with the resources they need to thrive.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Driver's Mate volunteer. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in assisting our collection drivers with the handling of furniture, loading and unloading vans, and other general tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the driver on furniture collection and delivery trips
  • Help load and unload vans with donated furniture
  • Work with the team to deliver and move furniture between charity shops
  • Complete paperwork and maintain records as directed
  • Keep the project office, warehouse area, and van(s) clean and safe
