About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Histopathology Expert to join our dynamic Cellular Pathology Service at North Bristol NHS Trust. As a Thoracic Pathology Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the clinical services in Bristol and Weston, delivering high-quality diagnostic and research services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the teaching and supervision of Junior Medical Staff & Students
  • Support the development of collaborative research projects within the Trusts and with Bristol universities
  • Contribute to the department's digital pathology solution and pathology network initiative
Person Specification
  • Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Holder of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent
  • FRCPath or equivalent qualification
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Higher academic qualification (e.g. MD or PhD)
  • Management qualification
  • Recent experience and familiarity of UK hospital systems and practices
