Job Summary

GE Aviation is seeking a skilled Electrical Control and Instrumentation Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Naval team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering complex electrical and software systems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software applications using LabVIEW and National Instruments TestStand.
  • Develop and integrate software components into a cohesive system.
  • Support existing NI/LabVIEW systems and provide maintenance, fault finding, diagnosis, repair, and upgrades/development as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of software design in the Test & Measurement industry, ideally in high-speed real-time applications.
  • LabVIEW experience (CLD minimum desirable but professional development is available to the right candidate.) National Instruments TestStand experience would be advantageous.
  • Degree/H.N.D. in Electrical/Software Engineering discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting and software debugging experience.
