We are seeking a highly skilled Image Ground Segment Architect to join our team at HE Space in the Images Skills Center. Our Skills Center provides expertise in remote sensing and satellite image processing.
- You will be responsible for developing our activities in the definition, design, and development of systems incorporating algorithmic chains based on image processing libraries and tools.
- You will take part in drawing up information system offers for operational projects for new satellite missions.
Key Responsibilities
You will have the following key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement image ground segment systems, ensuring high-quality and efficient processing of satellite imagery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop information systems for operational projects.
- Contribute to the development of system offers for new satellite missions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
You will need to have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Masters Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 10 years' experience in the development or operation of image ground segments.
- Mastery of image chain orchestration concepts and ground segment operational issues.
- Strong knowledge of Makefile, Python, Script Shell, and algorithms and image and signal processing.
- Experience with integrating processors in a cloud environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
