Job Opportunity: Image Ground Segment Architect

We are seeking an experienced Image Ground Segment Architect to join our team at HE Space. Our company specializes in remote sensing and satellite image processing, and we are looking for a skilled professional to develop our activities in the definition, design, and development of systems incorporating algorithmic chains based on image processing libraries and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement image ground segment systems, including algorithmic chains and image processing libraries.
  • Participate in the development of information system offers for operational projects for new satellite missions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of image ground segment systems.
Requirements:
  • Masters Degree in Engineering.
  • At least 10 years' experience in the development or operation of image ground segments.
  • Mastery of image chain orchestration concepts and ground segment operational issues.
  • Good knowledge of Makefile, Python, Script Shell, and algorithms and image and signal processing.
  • Experience with the integration of processors in a cloud environment.
  • Strong team player with problem-solving skills and experience with agile development methods.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
