Job Opportunity: Image Ground Segment Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Image Ground Segment Architect to join our team at HE Space in the Images Skills Center. Our Skills Center provides expertise in remote sensing and satellite image processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement image ground segment systems incorporating algorithmic chains based on image processing libraries and tools.
  • Contribute to the development of information system offers for operational projects for new satellite missions.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Engineering.
  • At least 10 years' experience in the development or operation of image ground segments.
  • Mastery of image chain orchestration concepts and ground segment operational issues.
  • Good knowledge of Makefile, Python, Script Shell, algorithms, and image and signal processing.
  • Experience in integrating processors in a cloud environment.
  • Team player with problem-solving skills and familiarity with agile development methods.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
