Support Companion for Disabled Individual

You will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping, as well as accompanying the individual on days out and providing emotional support. This is a rewarding role that requires patience, understanding, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with household chores, such as laundry and vacuuming.
- Preparing meals and snacks for the individual.
- Accompanying the individual on days out and engaging in activities together.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Performing other reasonable duties as requested.
Salary and Benefits:
- Hourly rate: £11.68 per hour.
- Working hours: 10 hours per week, times to be discussed further at interview.
- Holiday entitlement: Equivalent to 5.6 consecutive weeks' work.
- Free Care Skills training provided.
Requirements:
- A valid full UK driving license is required.
- You should have a calm, reassuring, and caring demeanor.
- You must understand the need for confidentiality in all areas of work.
Estimate Salary Range:£9,824 - £12,412 per annum (based on 10 hours per week)
