Children's Nursing Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Nurse Manager to join our team at Leaders In Care Recruitment. As a seasoned professional in paediatric nursing, you will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional care services for children and their families. Your expertise in tracheostomy care and ventilators will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of care is maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Care Plan Development: Collaborate with clients and healthcare professionals to develop and implement tailored care plans that cater to the unique needs of each child.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment within the multidisciplinary team, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Clinical Expertise: Utilise your advanced clinical skills to provide face-to-face support to children and their families, while ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
To succeed as a Paediatric Nurse Manager, you will need to possess:
- RSCN qualification with a minimum of 6 months' experience in the UK and an active NMC PIN.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to bring out the best in others.
- Up-to-date experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last 2 years.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, to effectively liaise with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Suitability for Band 5 /Band 6 Nurses with evidence of effective leadership and management of HCAs.
- A full UK Driving Licence is desirable but not essential.
