About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Band 6 Community Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at the Ministry of Defence (Defence Medical Services). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to our entitled personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing initial assessments and formulating treatment plans for referred patients
  • Delivering evidence-based interventions for mental health problems
  • Facilitating emergency patient assessments and managing therapeutic risk
  • Maintaining accurate records and clinical notes

Requirements

  • Registered with the NMC or HCPC
  • Nurse (Mental Health) with Nursing Midwifery Registered Council experience
  • Substantial post-qualification training and experience in evidence-based psychological therapies
