Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Operations Assistant to join our team at Education Authority. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring high-quality service and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the preparation of menus, portion control, and provision of special dietary meals.
  2. Record keeping, hygiene, health, and safety in the kitchen, including temperature recording.
  3. Direction and/or shared supervision of other employees.
  4. Operational control of service points, including transported meals.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent culinary skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.

Estimated Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience.
