Servicing a wide range of clients in the mechanical and electrical sectors, Hargreaves Industrial Services offers an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Assistant to join their team. This is a permanent position with working hours Monday to Friday.

Salary: £28,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to support our commercial activities and general administration tasks while maintaining relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers.

The role encompasses various duties such as answering telephone calls, handling post, raising purchase orders, taking meeting minutes, maintaining training records, booking hotels, managing office supplies and equipment, creating reports, documenting information, assisting with SHEQ functions, processing timesheets, supporting procurement and commercial teams, and preparing cost reports and project status updates.

To be successful in this role, you should possess proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), strong communication and problem-solving skills, high literacy and numerical ability, excellent time management and organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks, and a keen eye for detail and willingness to learn.
