Job Overview
Kent PLC is seeking an experienced Senior Process Safety Engineer to join our team. This role will involve leading/supporting projects, developing junior engineers, and expanding technical expertise in high-hazard industries like Oil & Gas, Low Carbon, and Renewables.

We are open to candidates based in Glasgow, Edinburgh, London, or any other UK office locations.

The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role
This senior engineer position requires a degree in a relevant engineering subject, chartered status with a relevant institution, and strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

Key responsibilities include conducting safety scopes, authoring technical reports, leading junior engineers, and preparing proposals for new work scopes.

Additional requirements include experience working in process/technical safety, preferably in the Energy industry, as well as risk and safety management.

A strong understanding of QRA and other safety techniques is also necessary, along with familiarity with relevant legislation and industry standards.

With excellent time-management skills and ability to work to deadlines, you will be confident in selling services and winning work.
