Job Overview
A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to join our client's Project Management Office (PMO) team in Warrington, where you will play a pivotal role in driving project success while safeguarding commercial interests.

About the Role
This Managing Quantity Surveyor position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from managing multi-million-pound initiatives to overseeing several smaller ventures. You will lead all commercial aspects of allocated projects, including risk and opportunity management, drive procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery, and provide financial performance reports.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead commercial aspects of projects, including risk and opportunity management.
  • Drive procurement strategies for cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
  • Provide financial performance reports, including forecasting, cash flow, and profit/loss statements.
  • Manage client and subcontractor accounts through to finalisation, ensuring value engineering.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to maximise project efficiency and profitability.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within Construction, Design, and Management (CDM) projects, ideally EPC with electrical, mechanical, and civil scope.
  • Expertise in NEC4 contracts (Options A, C, and E) and bespoke forms of contracts.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001, CDM15, and Health & Safety at Work standards.
  • Degree qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • Experience managing projects up to £50 million or multiple smaller projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction industry practices, including procurement routes, value management, and cost monitoring.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £65,000-£85,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our client offers a competitive benefits package, including a hybrid working arrangement, to support work-life balance.
