About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Warwickshire County Council. As a key member of our Soft FM operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality facilities management services across our diverse portfolio.
Your primary focus will be on providing leadership and support to our Front of House Facilities Management team, ensuring that our services meet national and local priorities. You will work closely with other Delivery Leads to monitor and evaluate our services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
As a Facilities Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a small team of Caretakers and Cleaners, as well as external contracts supporting security and guardian-related activities. You will possess a detailed understanding of planning and delivering Front of House FM operations, delivering multiple site customer-facing FM operations, and knowledge of relevant legislation and policy around Compliance, H&S, and the Environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, including building and maintaining relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders. You will also need to have experience and understanding of managing significant resources and budgets, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality facilities management services across our portfolio
- Provide leadership and support to the Front of House Facilities Management team
- Work closely with other Delivery Leads to monitor and evaluate services
- Manage a small team of Caretakers and Cleaners, as well as external contracts
- Develop and implement strategies to improve services and meet national and local priorities
