Geotechnical Engineer Position

We are collaborating with a well-established company in Co Down that specializes in geotechnical and ground-engineering solutions. They are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer for a permanent position.

They have worked on projects involving bridges, harbours, and motorways, collaborating with major construction companies across the UK and Ireland.
Job Responsibilities- Liaise with clients, regulators, and design engineers
- Manage a variety of geotechnical projects from inception to completion
- Manage financial budgets for projects
- Conduct geotechnical and contaminated land investigations
- Provide recommendations for foundation design, ground improvements, earthworks, basements, retaining walls, mining, dissolution, and slope stability assessments
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a ground investigation within the UK
- Experience of soil/rock logging, fieldwork, and sitework supervision
- Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or relevant degree
- Self-starter, team player with strong communication skills and proactive character
- UK driving licence for travelling to sites within the UK
